Malbec - Terrazas de los Andes

€22.50
Malbec red wine from the Terrazas de los Andes winery located outside Mendoza near the Andes mountains in Argentina. A high-altitude wine where the vines are grown “where the earth meets the sky”. It is a lovely garnet red wine made solely from Malbec grapes. The bouquet is fresh and intensely fruity with black and red fruit flavors like blackberry, plum and strawberry. The taste is vibrant and layered, the mouthfeel is fresh and polished, with a good tension and length. It is food friendly and versatile red wine that matches well all kinds of grilled or stewed meat dishes.

The Terrazas de los Andes winery was established in 1991 when the visionary owners recognized the unique potential of Mendoza and the majestic Andes, long before Argentina's oenological potential was recognized worldwide. With a bold vision and a firm conviction to create world-class fine wines, they ventured into the unexplored lands of the Andes in search of a refined varietal expression that could only be achieved on the cool, high-altitude terraces of Mendoza. Since then, the winery has been constantly in search of perfection, exploring the limits of high-altitude viticulture and challenging established standards to create wines that are truly exceptional.

The Terrazas de los Andes wines capture the pure, fresh taste of the Andes in Argentina. Cultivated in unique terroirs, in harmony with the mountain life they guard, these high-altitude wines are layered, yet surprisingly elegant and bright.
