Terre Arse from Florio is made from handpicked grillo grapes harvested during the last week of September. The grapes with their high sugar content are pressed hard to pass the precious substances found in the skins to the must. Fermentation at controlled temperature and blend of the resulting wine with wine distillate according to the Marsala Vergine tradition. Maturation at least 10 years in ancient oak barrels with a capacity 1,800 liters and then at least 2 months in bottle.
Colour : Golden
Bouquet: Extremely fine with scents of bitter almonds and toasted honey.
Taste: Dry, balanced with a finish of vanilla and liquorice roots.
