


The vines for the Zisola Rosso grow in vineyards at the Zisola Estate near the sea outside of Siracusa in South-East Sicily at an altitude of 130 m. The grapes were manually harvested fully ripened followed by maceration on the skins and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in small French oak barrels for 10 months and after bottling a further 3 months before being released.
Colour: Ruby red.
Bouquet: The nose shows forest fruits and sunny orange peel flavors.
Taste: The palate is soft and juicy, supported by a lively freshness and silky tannins, long and layered taste.
Longevity: 5-10 years.
