


The vines for the Sàgana grow in Tenuta San Giacomo vineyard near Caltanisetta in central Sicily. The grapes were manually harvested, sorted, and destemmed followed by the fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation and ageing to place in large oak barrels for 12 months followed by some months in the bottles.
Colour: Dark ruby.
Bouquet: On the nose, cloves, dried purple, licorice notes and dark tobacco.
Taste: Thick and soft, supported by a great freshness and elegant tannins.
Longevity 5-10 years.
