Bell'Assai from Sicilian producer Donnafugata. A red wine that amazes with its immediate pleasantness. It is made from frappato grapes grown in the hilly area near Acata in south-east Sicily. It has an intense flowery bouquet with notes of freesia and lavender followed by fruity aromas of strawberry and cherry. The taste is fresh and fragrant with soft tannins and a pleasant return of fruity notes.

Bell’Assai is a single variety Frappato, Vittoria DOC. The frappato vines grow in vineyards at an altitude of 120-150 m. The grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for about 8-9 days at a temperature of 24-25°C. After malolactic fermentation the wine aged in the tanks for 4 months and then in the bottles for at least 5 months.
