The Azienda Agricola Cà la Bionda is situated in the commune of Marano di Valpolicella, in the heart of the historically “classic” zone of the Valpolicella. The winery was founded in 1902 and is now run by the fourth generation of the family. The vineyard area extends over 29 hectares of hillside land with calcareous-loamy and tuff soil along the Marano Valley at altitudes ranging from 150 to 300 meters. Cà la Bionda has been practicing organic viticulture and wine-making since the year 2000. The process of obtaining official certification began in 2012 and the 2016 vintage was the winery’s first with official organic certification.
