Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG from the new wine producer Akrille Cutrera Bastianich located in the Chiaramonte Gulfi hills near Ragusa in eastern Sicily. It is a blend of Frappato and Nero d'Avola grapes from vines growing in calcareous-clayey soil at an altitude between 400 and 500 m. It is a beautiful cherry red young wine with fruity notes to the nose, with hints of blueberries, morello cherries and blackberries. The taste is full-body, soft and enveloping, with notes of red fruits and a long finish. A wine that is ideal with red meats, game and mature cheeses.

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria classification wines shall always be a blend of Frappato and Nero D’Avola of grapes grown in a dedicated area around Vittoria in eastern Sicily. The grapes for this wine were harvested and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. After the fermentation followed the maturation in stainless steel tanks for about 8 months, after which the wine was blended, bottled and left to refine in the bottle for about four months.
