




The Nerello Mascalese vines for Il Tascante are 50+ years old, and grow in volcanic soil on the northern slopes of Mt. Etna near Randazzo at an altitude of 750 m.
The grapes were manually harvested fully ripened followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months and in the bottle for a further 4 months.

Bouquet: Beautiful hints of flowers, wisteria, and berries.
Taste: A mineral trace opens to a taste of great personality and persistence, characterized by a tannic texture.
