



The Nerello Mascalese vines for Ghiaia Nera Tascante are 10-15 years old, and grow in volcanic soil on the northern slopes of Mt. Etna near Randazzo at an altitude of 600 m.
The grapes were manually harvested fully ripened followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in large slavonian oak barrels for 12 months
Colour: Ruby red
Bouquet: Strong floral hints of wisteria and red fruit.
Taste: Fresh, balanced and good persistence.
Longevity 5-10 years
