


The vines for La Monaca grow in vineyards at an altitude of 350 m. at the Pernice Estate in Monreale near Palermo. The grapes were manually harvested fully ripened followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 14 months
Colour: Brilliant ruby red with dark purple shades.
Bouquet: Hints of spices and aromatic herbs and balsamic notes enriched with aromas of chocolate and vanilla from the wood.
Taste: Harmonious palate, lovely softness, long persistence.
Longevity 5-10 years.
