The grapes for the Luce were handpicked and sorted followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 12 days. After the fermentation the maceration on the skins lasted for 4 weeks. The wine was transferred to oak barriques for the malolactic fermentation and further ageing for 24 months before bottling.
Colour: A deep, concentrated ruby red.
Bouquet: The nose boasts an impressive complex of aromas, opening immediately with intense notes of fresh berry fruit, particularly blackcurrant and raspberry, followed by a hint of smooth vanilla hovering in the background.
Taste: The palate offers an ultra-appealing crispness complementing its flavours of ripe fruit, dried flowers, and spices edged in smoke. Dense-packed, velvet-textured tannins contribute to an impressive structure that gives the wine its solid backbone. A near-endless finish provides a seductive vein of tangy mineral and spice, completing a wine that showcases a marriage of crispness and power.
