Il Bacialè Monferrato Rosso D.O.C. - Braida
The grapes for Il Bacialè come from several vineyards, mainly between Castelnuovo Calcea and Rocchetta Tanaro in the province of Asti. They are situated at around 230 m above sea level.
In the vinification the grapes are processed separately. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks and the malolactic fermentation in wooden casks. After fermentation the wine is aged partially in big wooden vats and the remaining part in small oak casks for 12 months. Assemblage is followed by a period in the bottle of 6 months.

Bouquet: The nose expresses spicy aromas and delicate blackberry flavours.
Taste: The palate gives a warm mouth feel, with plum, black pepper and cinnamon with a persistent finish.
