


The vines for the Sigillo red wine grow in Azienda Avide’s vineyards in a hilly area located at an altitude of 220 m. near the sea outside Comiso in the province of Ragusa in southeastern Sicily. The grapes were carefully sorted and softly pressed before the fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine matured 8 - 12 months in oak barriques followed by many months in the bottles before release.
A long lasting wine that will be drinkable for at least the next 5-10 years.
