IO (con Te) Nero D'Avola - Sicilia D.O.C. - Bonsignore
The Bonsignore Baglio e Vigne winery was established in 2016; and their interest and focus is exclusively on organic and natural production. The winery is located in contrada Giddio, near Agrigento in southern Sicily, and is placed on the hills, about 450 meters above sea level and about 18 kilometers from the sea. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 350 and 450 meters above sea level and measure a total of 13 hectares, 7 of which planted in Nero d’Avola and Syrah, about other 4 hectares planted in Grillo, while the rest will be planted in the coming years. The soil is composed mainly of limestone and clay and is rich in water veins that feed the artificial lake.
