Mahâris from the Sicilian winery Feudo Maccari is a lovely red wine made solely from Syrah grapes from more than 20 years old vines growing near the sea in south-eastern Sicily. It is a ruby red wine with balsamic and spicy notes of pepper and cinnamon. The taste has spicy notes with soft tannins that envelop the palate. The finish exhibits coffee and smoked notes that make this wine both pleasant
