Pinot Nero - Terre Siciliane Rosso I.G.T. - Tenuta San Michele - Murgo
€22.20
Pinot Nero from Tenuta San Michele belonging to the Murgo family is made from Pinot Nero grapes grown in vineyards located high up on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. This is a lovely ruby red wine with sensations of black currant, cherry, rose and spices (licorice, black pepper). It is elegant and mineral with subtle aromas of red fruit and wild raspberry. The tannins are pleasantly integrated.

Pinot Noir grapes do not give opulent and full-bodied wines, but more than any other grape variety they have the ability to "fix" the characteristics of the terroir. However, they require an environment compatible with the earliness of the harvest and in which the subtle and complex aromatic notes that make up the main charm of these wines can be preserved.
Longevity 5-10 years.
