


The family behind the House of Tasca d’Almerata has been active wine producers for many years. Today it is the 8th generation of the family that manages the 5 estates and 600 hectares of cultivated land with a clear focus on sustainability in all steps of the production processes.
The vines for Rosso del Conte grows in the Vigne San Lucio Vineyard at the Regaleali Estate near Palermo at an altitude of 480 m. The grapes were manually harvested fully ripened followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months and in the bottle for further 12 months.
Colour: Vibrant ruby red.
Bouquet: On the nose scents of red fruits embellished with fragrances of coffee and licorice.
Taste: On the palate it is complete, aristocratic, convincing, balanced. The wine has a long persistence.
Longevity 10-20 years.
