An excellent fresh and fruity rosé wine from the Cantina Fina located in the highlands near the west coast of Sicilia. The Hamami is produced purely from Merlot grapes from a vineyard located at an altitude of 850 m. It benefits from the varying climate near the sea giving large temperature variations that are important for the acidity in the grapes and hence the freshness of the wine.

The Cantine Fina follows a tradition of winemaking that started thousands of years ago when the Greek and Phoenician settlements on the Sicilian west coast started the cultivation of grapes. The winery is located on a ridge on the west coast near the Mediterrenean Sea. The vineyards are in good part made of autochthonous vines like Grillo and Nero d’Avola, but many years ago they introduced international grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah in this area. The vineyards benefit from the temperature variations near the sea with cool breezes supporting the acidity of the wines.
