It is in Sicily, in the western part of the island, in Marsala, that Marco De Bartoli, strongly believing in the viticulture traditions of his territory, rediscovers and nourishes the deep root between the traditional and innovative methods of working the soil and winemaking. The word integer, that means whole, these wines are made exclusively from local varieties that have found their natural environment in this region, fully respecting the terroir with limited human intervention, avoiding any chemical, physical and mechanical treatment. 3,500 Grillo vines per hectare, originally planted over 20 years ago in Contrada Samperi, twelve kilometers from Marsala, on limestone and sandy loam soils, and trained with the single Guyot system.
