€34.60
IDDA - Etna Bianco from the new cooperation between two giants in Italian winemaking – Gaja in Piemonte and Graci on Etna - who together have acquired 20 hectares of vineyards on the south-western slopes of the Etna volcano at an altitude of 600-800 m with the aim of producing top quality Etna wines. This young white wine made purely from the indigenous Carricante grape is the fourth vintage from this cooperation. It is a lovely wine with hints of white flowers, almonds and marzipan, the taste is fresh and savory, with a pleasant sweetness combined with good acidity.

IDDA is a joint project of two families, Gaja and Graci, based on the common curiosity and the desire to learn and improve. With IDDA they have taken an unusual path: focusing attention mainly on Carricante and focus on the rediscovery of the southwestern side of the volcano, often referred to as the side countercurrent of Etna. Today the company owns 20 hectares of vineyards located between 600 and 800 meters above sea level in the municipalities of Belpasso and Biancavilla. The cultivated vines are Carricante and Nerello Mascalese.
