The Attems estate extends for 44 hectares on the terraced slopes west of Gorizia, facing south, protected both from the cold north winds and from the Trieste bora. A territory particularly suited to viticulture, which already at the end of the nineteenth century allowed Friuli Venezia Giulia to be one of the first Italian wine-growing regions. Attems enhances both native varieties such as Ribolla Gialla and other noble vines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Merlot, which find here ideal environmental conditions. The vineyards grow and bear fruit in an ecosystem where biodiversity reigns.
