Grappoli del Grillo - Terre Siciliane I.G.P - Marco De Bartoli
The Grappoli del Grillo from Marco De Bartoli begins in Contrada Fornara Samperi, in the Marsala area, where grapes previously used for producing traditional Marsala wine now is used to produce high quality table wines. The production starts with a strict manual selection of grapes and a fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperature in stainless steeltanks.The process then completes in French oak barrels to preserve the wine's primary aromas and to enhance its bouquet during the ageing period. 12 months in oak barrels of different sizes, on its own lees, stirred until its maturity.
Colour: Intense yellow with greenish reflections.
Bouquet: The nose is fruity and floral - field flowers, pineapple shades and exotic fruit.
Taste: Elegant and fruity on the palate with a slightly bitter finish that makes it pleasantly persistent. A wine that retains emotions over time.
Longevity 10-15 years.
