Maria Costanza Bianco - Sicilia D.O.P. - Az. Agr. Milazzo
This wine is the combination of two vineyards - those with Inzolia and Chardonnay grapes. Part of the grapes were fermented in steel tanks while others were fermented and refined in oak barrels. During the aging of about eight months, the wine has been constantly subjected to "bâtonnage" to favor the dissolution of the yeast. Subsequently, after mixing the wine from the tanks with that of the barriques and a slight filtration the wine was bottled. The final phase of bottle aging will favor the development of tertiary flavors.
Colour: Pale straw yellow with green highlights.
Bouquet: The nose is very delicate with hints of vanilla, enriched by tropical white and yellow fresh fruits. It closes with pleasant hints of chamomile-blossoms.
Flavour: The mouth is rich, structured and of great softness. Sapid, well-integrated, long and very persistent finish.
Aging Potential over 4 years
